Default Wagon Lowering Springs Info & Pic Request....Eibach & Tein

Hi guys,

I am looking at lowering my wagon with some springs on the stock struts as they are still healthy.

For a Subaru newbie after doing about a weeks worth of research it seems like quite a minefield with what springs to use. I have narrowed it down to Eibach Pro Kit & either Tein S or H Techs but I have the below issues that's stopping me.......

I have seen loads of Americans moaning about the rear of the wagons sitting lower (sagging) after installing Eibach Pro springs but I have not found one person in the UK moaning about this or needing the extra spacers the Americans install. Is there any Wagon owners on here with the Eibach springs???

Also the Tein springs seem to sit nice but again mostly the US guys seem to say they kill shocks very quickly being a 40mm drop...again is this true?

I'd greatly appreciate any wagon owners with either of the above springs input or pictures

Thanks
Tom

EDIT: I forgot to mention I have a Bugeye Wagon.

Iv got the eibach pro kit springs on my hawk wagon with standard shocks. Iv not got a saggy **** and sits just at the right height for me as a daily driver, quiet a comfy drive and not to hard as I first thought it would be.

Hi mate,

Thank you for that picture that's bang on the look I am after. Any chance you know the part number for the springs you have? I don't want to buy the wrong ones.

Thanks

No worries new saw it was a bugeye you had. Don't know if it's all the same springs on newage. Sure someone will enlighten you with that bit of wisdom

When I used Eibach springs on my wagon, it was only transformed by a roll centre kit, which made the handling much more compliant; as you lower a car, the roll centre moves.
