i can only dream!!
good luck wiht the sale.
good luck wiht the sale.
22b's are not anymore prone to problems than other impreza's
3 months is more than enough time for any problems to show up, we by law only have to warrant a sale for 30 days But at scoobyclinic we offer a 3 month unconditional warranty from ourselves that covers EVERYTHING! We see a lot of aftermarket warranties that are not worth the paper they are printed on.
So you can buy with confidence, are you interested?

Yes orange but that doesn't really matter its the other bits that its had under the bonnet.it needs putting back to as it should be in my opinion because these are rarer than a normal 22B, and if you are going to keep it as a collectors car I think it should be standard to keep its worth

So i think it depends how anoraky you want to be lol
I've know this car for about 5 years now, mate used to own it and its had no expense spared on it.

I supose if you have all the bits to go back on it when you finish with it and you are going to use it,then have the mods and then put it back to standard when you are selling up,because at the end of the day if you are buying it for your own pleasure,so I do agree with you just a little bit

My old car
. Only owned it for several months but loved it. Looks like a few things have changed since I sold it. Glad to see the mud flaps are off. Is there still a fire extinguisher in the boot?
As regarding the value, I sold this car a few years ago for £24k, exactly what I paid for it. So future value, I'd expect it to stay of the same value.
Engine wise, the engines do go like a lot of classics and a rebuild would cost circa 4k, I do believe the owner after me had to have it rebuilt.

Well, as I've already posted, I sold this car several years ago for £24k. Don't see much profit in it if I'd have kept it for 4 more years. In that time it's had IIRC £6k spent on it on a rebuild.

A friend of mine has just sold this car to SC. Ive been in it a few times and its a realy nice car. I reckon hes just spent quite a wedge upgrading it wth new turbo, ecu etc. Adam would be able to advise exactly what. I was shocked when he rang me and told me he was selling as it was his PJ and was looked after money no object.
Guys, unless you have any questions or direct interests in the car, please refrain from posting any negative opinions.

I owned this car back in 2004 and bought it from Crossroads Garage....the 22B No. plate only cost me 300 quid if i remember correctly....filling up a tank was only £50 also!
Amazing machine & still miss driving it to this day - if youre in the market for a 22B, do it as they are without doubt the best thing to roll out of the factory....over 10 yrs on and we've never seen anything like this since.
Wonder if there will ever be another hand build Subaru again like this one.
Good luck with the sale and hope it goes to a happy home ;-)

rofl it seems that many people had owned this car previously!!
why each one sold this car then if it is so rare and well taken care of? I don't understand this.
If I had a 22B, I would never sell it.

To answer the other point, I think its one of those cars you've just got to own and it would be nice to keep all the cars i've owned but sometimes you get an offer you cant refuse and it must go.
It was my daily driver and to be fair to the 22B its not that type of car & after 12 months driving only cost me £500 - unheard of these days!
If i could find a cheap one to bring back to top spec i would happily keep one....maybe you dont know what youve got until its gone...
