Its a newage open deck block with standard rods rebuilt with Mahle forged pistons and ACL bearings throughout 6k miles ago by a well known breaker on here for his own car, i bought it as a spare for my high mileage UK impreza, its a very economical way to get a 400bhp capable engine.
I have checked the engine over and its been oiled and spun over often.

not sure if you can reuse the pistons but if you can then yeah would be a great way to get a 2.1 build
