Stop the needle vibrating and gives a better read out as the needle isnt jumping all over the place. There should be more fluid in it than that one though

Just for those wondering. The gauge has plentiful liquid in it, it's only looking low in the first few pictures as I had it almost laid flat. Look at a picture further down and you'll see what I mean.

That looks like the right amount of oil in the gauge to me and ive used 3 of these in the past.
Did it sell?
