Hi Martin.

I suppose it all depends on what you intend on doing. I would say a VF34 would be fine with an STI TMIC all day long, unless you intend on tracking the car where stationary and high speeds warrant a FMIC.

400bhp also seems to be about the limit of a good condition STI TMIC, which will likely out see your turbos commitments, so unless you plan on tracking, or upping your power, then your probably alright with the top mount.

For example, I had 413bhp out of my old bugeye with a GT30 and STI TMIC but temps were holding me back, so I fitted a FMIC and got just under 430bhp with a splash of meth, I think it was wise for me as I did a few grudgement days where atmosphere temps so nearly 30degrees, and intake temps of 48degrees

No Subaru for the FMIC

I'm on the hunt for another car, possible Newage again, but maybe Twin Scroll, or better still SpecC if I can find one at good money, or a classic RA if I go pure track, but to be honest I think it's bad timing for a track beast as I've no spare time as it is at present.

Yes mate,

I'd suggest getting it fitted by a mechanic who knows what he's doing though, unless you've done one yourself
