Default EJ25 CDB, Mahle pistons, 14mm headstuds

Hi

I have for sale a EJ25 block that has had a closed deck block conversion carried out; the block has been bored and honed for a set of 99.75mm Mahle 2618 pistons and it has been machined for 14mm headstuds.

The pistons are included, they are brand new still in their packaging. Part no: WRX209927P22

A brand new set of 14mm headstuds and nuts are included.

I'm looking for £1500

I'm located in Wanstead, London, E11

Thanks
Harry

Still available?

Have you got any pics or links to the engine?

What make are the studs that come with it, and who has carried out the work on the cdb insert? Any paperwork?

Cheers

Hi they're a set of my converted casings which were done by the very same engineer who did AndyF's 6cyl cdb,I've had about 10 sets of 4 & 6cyl impreza casings converted to date with no issues. I'm running the very same set at approx 650bhp & have done for over a yr & 7,000miles with no issues or oil usage etc

Cheers drew

Hi it is still available, I'm planning to build it if it doesn't sell but as I've got a little one on the way the project may get side tracked for a while.

I bought the block and head studs from Drew, I'm not sure on make of head studs but I believe they are the same studs supplied by AS Performance; Drew may be able clarify...

I had the engine bored, honed and surfaced by Steve @ Roland Alsop, he also supplied the pistons; have a receipt from Roland Alsop.

Cheers
Harry

Cheers for the info bud, so just to clarify it needs a crank and rods with a full bearing and gasket set to be bought to finish it off? I would be looking to put my twinscroll setup on it, I take it the sumps are interchangeable on the 2.5 and the 2.0 TS?

Ill be honest I don't have the money together just yet and I stumbled across this thread whilst browsing but its caught my interest, I'm going away on hols Thursday so its the perfect time to be nice to the mrs ill have a chat and see what I can sort, can't make no promises as I don't want to be messing anybody about but I'm certainly interested

Hey bud,

Looks like a top block. are you open to offers on this - if so what would you deem acceptable?

Heard very good things about the closed deck modified 2.5's, think it's the new CDB 2.1... :-D

Thanks

how much would you take for the block and rods. Don't need the pistons as I have some all ready.

I have a bare CDB block, 14mm head studs and pistons for sale... The block has been machined for the 97.5mm pistons and the 14mm head studs... Make me an offer via PM on any parts if you wish to do so

Thanks

If the bores and pistons are matched it would be foolish not to buy them together. Good deal for someone with all the hard work done
