Default classic 3" hayward & scott exhaust*SOLD*

hi,genuine 3" bore h&s exhaust removed from my classic,i couldnt cope with the loud growl from this beast.its too loud for me so its up for sale.its in excellent condition and costs a fortune from h&s.
£120 delivered.

pls note this is 3" bore pipe work,not oe 2.5".

Is this quieter than the NUR SPEC R,and will it hook up to the center section of a nur spec ?

yes,its quieter than a nur spec r,i would have thought it would fit up to the centre section ok,but ive never had a nurspec centre section so i cant be 100% sure.

It won't unless you have the flange chopped off and re-welded at the right angle for fitment. The Nur Spec-r uses a more horizontal flange fitting where the H&S is a diagonal one. If you have a look under your car where the backbox meets, you should see what I mean

I only know from past experience, different catback brands use slightly different flange fitment angles UNLESS selling backboxes, like the H&S one here

it really does depend on the situation,i posted a thread about the 3" milltek backbox and the fact the everyone said it will not fit right due to the same flange issue,so i bought one with the intention of modifying it to fit,and it bolted staraight up and was a perfect fit without any modifying needed.(im not saying the h&s will defo fit the blitz centre as i dont know).

Aye, just a gamble you take. But I do know the Nur Spec-r won't fit the H&S without flange modification from personal experience (and cost!).

I found a centre section on here for £100,but its got a round clamp type connection on it where it connects to down pipe,i will see if my mate can join my centre onto your back box,if hes prepared to give it ago i will take it,if not GLWTS
P.S.Dont wait for me if another buyer is interested.
