hope you dont mind me asking but any idea what the VF43 with TMIC made power wise? I have a similar setup on my type r and i'm due to get it mapped soon but i've not heard a lot about the vf43 (was on it when I bought it). I'm using a walbro, airbox and filter, 440's and the 43 with tmic.

Any help would be good, would just like to know what to expect and what its likely to produce on 97 fuel.

The limiting factor will be the injectors but the vf43 max is 380-390.
Never seen anyone with 400on it, you will get 400on the vf48.

I have the vf43 on mine and its a superb turbo, very quick spooling turbo and goes well top end as well

I did say the vf43 should go up to 400 with supporting mods but not going to argue over 10 bhp

cheers for the input lads, I'm not looking for anywhere near 400 as i'm on a 5 speed but a decent torque figure will do me nicely in a type r. Bhp means nothing to me, it only helps to keep the car moving or for top speed and its acceleration i'm interested in.
