good luck with the sale but i think you`ll still struggle at £200, the simple fact you have the original pots in there, they are the main issue these calipers have, doesnt matter how clean etc they are, they still seize !
if you want to guarantee a sale, fit new s/s pots

Hi,yes i do know why they seize and your "theory" is wrong on so many levels !
I`ll leave you to find out why they really seize and i would remove my post but then yours will make no sense
good luck with the sale, my point was a valid one to help you sell them,but its hit a brick wall it seems.

I've done a couple of calipers in my time
The reason they seize is the chrome plating wears off the pistons leaving the unprotected steel to corrode , the corrosion builds up and causes the pistons to seize in the bores.
Stainless steel pistons is the way to go on the Subaru 4 pot calipers
