Thats what i was thinking, and for that reason im out !!
If the speedo converter was fitted to the gearbox wiring they will read in KMH as the car they are going on will need a converter now, Unless it has been fitted into the clocks, I fitted a set that was in KMH but i also needed the converter for £25 off eBay, still got them somewhere

These ones will still need the converter as when I put them in my car they still read kms, I never got round to buying a converter before selling my car!
