For sale is an Impreza EJ20 long engine from a Classic Version 2 Forged.
The car which the engine was removed from was running 400bhp, decided to break the car as it was worth more in pieces and have now sold the shell, so the engine is ready for collection/delivery.


Although I don't have paper evidence that this engine is forged (built at 400bhp in Japan), the car is well known to most Midlands Impreza specialists and the car was imported running 400bhp via API Impreza.
The supporting mods included a rotated TD06 20G Turbo kit, HKS FCON Pro etc (NOT INCLUDED).



The engine does make the distinctive forged piston noise and I am certain it is a forged block.


The engine comes as a long block so heads attached with all ancillaries, block, inlet manifold, sump, new ignition coils, filter, oil pump, pulleys, cambelt, exhaust manifold, up pipe, water pump, an OS Giken lightened Flywheel & multi plate clutch kit which alone costs in the region of £1300, Purple uprated Injectors (I think they are Denso SARD) all in good working order. All which is shown in the pictures is included in sale.


Engine has had regular oil changes every 3000 miles using quality oils – this has been Mobil One Motorsport 15W50 Synthetic oil. The ignition coils were replaced via TD Racing at nearly £500. Recent spark plugs & service via Thor Racing.


Engine is a perfect runner, doesn’t burn oil etc, since being in the UK the car has been a show car therefore has had an easy life with no track days or hard driving etc. Mileage on the car was 60,000 unsure on exact engine mileage however since being imported I’ve done 7,000 miles on it.


I have videos and pictures from the car before it was broken. The gearbox & rotated turbo kit were sold with the shell so are not included.
