As it run good at 485, i am sure with slightly less Boost, it will happily run 450, and leave you room to spare for future Modifications.
It is a straight Bolt on on Newage and the Classics with the front entry Turbo Phase 1.5 on.

I'd much rather max a turbo than hold it back.......only asked cause I never looked into these and holding for a md321t or even just catching 1 on here is proving hard, will look into the gt30 abit more fella and maybe get back to you if it ain't sold......good luck anyway cheers

Sorry I have no idea about the vf48. its size or capabilities.
So i just done a Quick Search on here.
From this and the fact it's a std Hatch Turbo i have to Say Yes this GT30 is a fair bit bigger.

On a 2.5? probably 350/370bhp - 390-420lb/ft with supporting mods.
It made just shy 340 on v-power in my old 2.0 sti v4 with 95k miles on a conservative dyno, amazing spool 1bar at 2800rpm on a 2.0!
Think of it as newer equivilant to a vf34 with smoother power characteristics and slightly better top end, these go great on 2.5's

I have Spoke to the original Owner of this Turbo, and it done very Little Miles.
This was from his Add a couple of years ago.

For sale Garrett GT30 turbo.
Not done many miles, Balancing marks can still be seen on the compressor blades. I didnt get the chance to use this turbo to its potential, i ran it at wastegate pressure 0.7bar on my 2.5l engined classic.

Turbo Spec
Garret GT3076R
Ball bearing
Oil & Water-cooled bearing system
Upgrade turbocharger for GT3071R non-wastegated ball-bearing turbocharger; turbine housing flanges are outline interchangeable
T3 turbine inlet flange
Ideal for medium displacement engines making up to 525 hp

Comes with braided oil feed pipe.
