you can have a wider spread of power ie rev limit can be 8000+ other factors come into it aswell ie turbo etc

any idea what headgasket thickness i'd need to run with my unskimmed '98 type r heads to obtain an 8.2-1 comp ratio?
are there any other issues with fitting all the ancillaries/electrics from the type r to this engine and dropping it in? i appreciate the ecu would need a map, but anything else?
thanks in advance

I ran 0.7mm cosworth gaskets which worked out about 8.2-1, theres no issues running 98 heads etc they will just bolts on and elec will plug in no probs, i can supply the earlier crank timing belt pulley with it.
yes it will need mapping and its ran good power already with other supporting mods ie injectors & turbo
cheers drew
