Default api built v7 engine good spec still with warranty

as above i have had my 2002 wrx engine built by api a few months ago but sadly my gearbox has decided to let go !! so breaking car .
anyway the engine has been built with no expense spared and had it built using genuine sti v7 pistons and rods along with acl race bearings and modified oil pump . it also has the ihi vf34 turbo which i bought new "only done 3000 miles" 550 fuel injectors , ngk iridium plugs ,sti top mount intercooler , blue silicone coolant hoses and a roger clark induction kit . the ecu was mapped by api using ecu-tek and produced 360.1bhp and 320lbs torque athough david did suggest the rollers needed slight adjustment it will still be producing over 340 . the engine as expected runs absolutley faultless and smooth strong power delivery . have all power run print outs , and receipts for everything build cost over £3,000 ! this is a rare oppertunity to bag yourself a genuine and basically brand new engine and turbo . it can be heard running as its still installed in car and buyer must remove and transport .

thanks pm me if interested

Dave

I'd be interested in the induction kit mate if you'd sell it separately?

Are you sure Dave, you are asking too low for whole this package...

Don't take this wrong, but you are making mistake with selling engine and other bits, just chin up and wait until everything will be clearer than right now

You are save before for this and now you want sell this package cheap,re-think again and don't don this.

Contact few guys and ask for paying halves for 5speed,just don't break your project mate

Good luck matey with your decision and re-think and chin up

im okay jura to be honest im actually exited about a fresh start on a new car and the thought of having money to actually spend on other things than my subaru is a bonus too . ive kind of lost the love for my impreza after all has happened and the car is a curse !! i have priced the engine for 2,000 hoping for a resonably quick sale so i can crack on . ill stay on scoobynet and share my new project with all

why not just stick a gearbox in it and use it ?
has to be less hassle then breaking a car and looking for another.

Let's say you get 2K for the engine and the other bits you stated, what else is there to sell ?

Maybe it might be worth sticking another 5 speeder in and selling as a whole.

Replacement 5 speed WRX box has surely got to be the easiest option.....OP i dont know your full position mate so don't take any offence.

I'm just looking at the amount of effort you have put into this build and for the sake of £400 or even cheaper you could have your motor back on the road.

selling as a whole i will get 4k if im lucky ? plus the price of fitting a 5 spd in it ill end up with say 3.5k ? selling as parts based on cheap prices "like my engine" i get 4,700 !!! already sold a load of it to a mate of mine , well reserved it until engine sells anyway . i have loads of stuff for sale including my 19" alloy wheels which im going to repair due to slight curbing and they are fitted with brand new tires ! my brand new "still bedding in" godspeed discs with orange stuff pads , morrettes full sti interior and the list goes on and on !!!

but i am not selling any parts until my engine has sold .
