Why not spend £10-20 and get a lambda boss welded on??
Any exhaust specialist like Longlife/Powerflow would be able to do it, or any welder who can weld stainless.

All lambda bosses are the same thread iirc, so just chop off the one there and get it welded on. Most exhaust companies would carry that sort of boss in stock.

If not this would do the job, once welded on.

Looking at yours you may be able to remove the plate on the top, and the threaded boss should be underneath. Only looks like a patch welded ontop of the boss, to block it off.

That's what I was thinking but was unsure, what's the best way to remove the cap ... Do I need to get it heated up ? To see if the boss is good ?

Cut it off with a disk cutter, just the weld on the plate, if the thread is goosed (or you destroy it by accident) then you will need a new boss, but they aren`t expensive.
