6 Speed TY856WN2CA Gearbox - £1250
R180 Rear Diff - £200
Rear Hubs - £100 for the pair
Drive Shafts - £100 for the pair.

As some of you will be aware I have decided to break my 2002 STI for parts. There are still a few nice items left to buy and this is one.

The gearbox is as sweet as a nut, no noise, crunching, or unusual activity. All gears select like they should from new.

If you buy the whole lot I will let it go for £1600 ono

I ran over 400/400 through it with no issues at all, I believe they are good for monster power.

 

whats the ratio compared to the JDM?

 

I cant comment having not owned a JDM, but there is quite a few 6 Speed variations inc DCCD obviously. Im sure some google work would reveal the answer unless someone on here can comment?

whats included in teh sale? gear linkage, propshaft? starter?
whats the final drive? all JDM 6speed is 3.9

To answer a few questions asked today:

Installation can be done for you where my car has been broken for spares, I will confirm labour charge and times.

Also the gearbox full kit is available for conversion, and I also have a 6 Speed Paddle Clutch kit which is almost new for £280 ono (on another thread).

Im based in Earby, but the car is in Lower Darwen at CAMS PERFORMANCE.

Typical... my gearbox just died as this got sold... and I'm not buyin another 5 speed I'm fed up with replacing them

I've got a ver6 STi and I'm after a UK box so I can run it with my current 180 rear diff and hubs...

I wish my box had of gone when I 1st saw your thread.

If this other buyer wants to pull out tell him I'll cover his deposit so he wont loose anything

I know of a 6 Speed hawkeye DCCD, but its probably out of the price range you had in mind Perfect for 1/4mile runs and its mint.

Thanks Rob, but I'm aiming for a UK 6 speed, pre hawkeye without the DCCD etc.

I just want a strong box with minimal conversion to fit my car and its sods law that your box is exactly what I'm after just as it gets sold.

Its ok I'm sure I'll find another if your buyer is a dead cert. Doubt I'll be as fortunate with such a bargin price but c'est la vie
