I'm not after a JDM box or UK DCCD... I want a no fuss straight swap with my box so its gotta be a UK non DCCD 6 speed that I can marry up with a UK classic R160 3.54 diff

I'll also need advise on what you just said about 'running it open'... so thats like no fitting or wiring in the controller and therefore it runs as a std 6 speed?
Can I still marry it up to a 3.54 R160 rear diff or will it need an R180 3.9?

Its from the WR1 Im breaking so has the jdm 1st-4th gears then the longer 5th and 6th. You will need a 3.54 rear diff, meaning you can use one from any UK classic and retain your existing shafts and hubs.
Running it open is without the wiring and controller, basically its 'default' setting.
128k on it but its never been pushed hard in its life, Ive known the car since new.

JDM 1st-4th low ratio and longer 5th & 6th sounds perfect and more than what I was hoping for!
So eventho the wiring and controller are out of the set up, the gearbox will wire in to my oem plugs?

You can take this as prov sold
I just wanna be sure on the little points such as the wiring of the oem plugs on my car etc... or how to get round it if they dont marry up to the box.

I had wanted to get it refurbed and didnt realise the cost involved... half of what I projected so will need to think as it'd mean dropping the box straight in with 130k miles...
Are these all motorway miles?
