Default Afterburner Vortex decate pipe & decate downpipe - NEW PRICES

These gonna have to go on fleebay soon, any sensible offers

New Prices

2nd Decat - £100 inc postage
Decat Downpipe - £100 inc postage

Hello all

On Friday I will be having my Afterburner Vortex system taken off and will be up for sale.

The system is less than two years old and was purchased and fitted by scoobyparts. The system compiles of:

Backbox, Center Section, 2nd Decate, Decated Downpipe

The downpipe is heat wrapped. I will dig out the receipts for the buyer if he/she wants them.

I will post a video demonstrating the sound asap and I'll put pictures up soon as it's off.

I will split the system but would prefer to sell as a complete set. I will post prices once I can confirm the condition - should be pretty perfect.

Have a look here for an idea of what the cost new would be and temp pictures.

http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...hp?cPath=24_53

All I can say is I loved this system, it's how it should sound.

Cheers
Gez

PRICES:

Back Box - SOLD
Center Section - SOLD
2nd Decat - £110
Decat Downpipe - £115

I will get pic's up asap

I can post mate, once they're off the car and I know the weight I will get postage prices. I have had a PM from a member wanting the de-cat pipes so we could do this.

I'll only split this early mate if that other guy (or anyone else) wants the other parts.

One guy express interested (for hole system) said he'd collect on Saturday.

If I post out, I'll get costs sorted friday evening and could arrange courier to collect on Monday.

Cheers

Decate downpipe and 2nd Decate pipe

Center pipe and backbox

There is a small dent on the backbox with a few scratches leading towards it. You have to be right under the car to see these. This is only minor surface damage. I've changed the price for the back box because of this.

Cheers

Postage costs

I use www.interparcel.com and I don't make any money on postage. Feel free to check yourself.

Back box (130L x 20W x 23H) TNT = £11

Center Pipe (133L x 15W x 23H) TNT = £11

Decate down pipe (51L x 14W x 14H) TNT = £11

2nd decate pipe (28L x 14W x 14H) TNT = £11

C/Pipe + D/Pipe + 2nd/Decate - TNT = £14 (quote for another member)

I can't see it being much more for all four pipes.

PLEASE NOTE: these prices do not include extra insurance. I think you get £50 as standard. If you want more, you'll have to pay. I've used TNT through interparcel for all my deliveries and not had a problem.

Cheers

Sorry mate, no real close up's. Although it is really dirty, you can get an idea from the video above.

Okay cheers will get back to you did say to the other chap on here who was selling his 2-3 month old backbox that I would no doubt take his if he could find the bung for it but so far nothing heard back from him ??!!

you got a bung for yours ?? is all the parts under 2 year old ?? I take it the rear box is only slightly angled on the vortex, some boxes are very angled but this appear just to have a slight angle to it ??

just a bit concerned what the back box and centre pipe in conjunction with my decat midpipe will sound like ( to the neighbours ??!! )

how loud is the exhaust on tick over ??

Sorry mate, haven't got the bung.

The noise totally depends on the Decate pipes you have. The hole afterbuner system is a pretty noisy system. The first stage I had was just the back box and c/pipe and it had a real nice deep rumble and then turned a bit race car sound with the other pipes. Saying that I've defo heard noisier scoobs.

Think also depends on what newage you have, hawkeye's tend to be quieter.

I'm pretty sure all parts are under or about two years. Only had the car little over two years

Did you upload a video off the exhaust in action ?? car is a 2005 blobeye - mods wise would be this vortex back box/centerpipe / mid pipe decat and both up / down pipes oe

to be honest dont really want to run a backbox with a bung but on the same token dont want a race car sound !!

what price would you do the backbox alone for posted ?? as may have to go for a center pipe with a silencer.

That video above is stationary, no action videos mate.

If you've still got the OE downpipe it wont be as loud as what I had it (it wont be that racer sound). That cat in the downpipe will muffle the noise a fare bit. It is a noisy system, it's not like a Milltek or H&S system.

Backbox on its own - Price stated mate

Okay cheers does this one have the spiral ( vortex ?? ) inner bit at the rear off the backbox pipe ?? there is seemingly three versions - the original Afterburner / the afterburner vortex with spiral and the afterburner burner without spiral and no doubt each version available in both straight exit and angled exit just to confuse us !!

so whats yours - angled with vortex inner or without ??

On the receipt, its got "Angled" in the product title. When you look down inside the backbox, the insides has a slight twist.

Dates of purchase from Scoobyworld (I will show or give the receipts to the purchaser)

Backbox - 19/12/2009
C/Pipe - 16/01/2010
2nd decate pipe - 05/08/2010
Decate downpipe - 30/01/2010

Cheers
