Would you split, and if so do you know if the backbox would mate up to a milltek system? Might be up for a swap if it does, I fancy more noise where are you based?

It will fit any scooby from 2001 - 2007, I'm based in Ipswich Suffolk,

I don't really want to split, to keep it looking like that I just use a metal polish, autosol etc

The Miltek is very quiet, and as for mating other backboxes up to it, well just say I have tried two and failed. You need the everything from the downpipe back I think.

Which backboxes did you try Rob?

I have been told that an H&S will fit as Anger on here has one.

I can't fit a system from the downpipe back as I also have a milltek sports cat downpipe and they are a different length to others

Looking like I might have to get the resonator cut out from my centre section to get a hit more burble. Im not even after a but spec loud just a nicer slighty louder rumble.

Dont know which types for sure, one was definatly a good example non branded, no marking on it to say where it was made, but it was quite light and very well put together. The other was a Scoobyworld I think.

I might have something of interest to you, I had a 3" pipe made up with flanges on each side to act as a spacer if that help you. I got one at 30mm for myself, and when I was trying to fit other backboxes I was so close with one that I got a 150mm spacer made, but it still failed on the back axel

edit - have you tried a japspeed?

I haven't tried anything yet as just thinking about changing the system at the moment. Where about in the system did you use the spacer?

Sorry to highjack your thread Shane.

Hi Shane,

Ive got the standard centre section and a Prodrive backbox if your Ninja is still available to swap?

The centre section is off my53 wrx but only done 52k miles and the backbox is off JP4's (Jag) WR1 and has done about 20k in total iirc (15k on his car and 5k on mine.

I'll try and get under the car tomorrow and get some pics.

Is your exhaust on the car atm?

I am very interested in this, I have a tornado centrepipe and P1 back box and would like something louder.
I bought the centrepipe under 4 months ago and only done 2,000 miles max.
I'm in Cambridge but can come down to you one weekend.
Fingers crossed.
