Yes it is taller and allows for more air through and onto the intercooler and looks more meaner as well compared to the wrx one

When I got mine, I was disappointed because it looked exactly the same, but once it is fitted it is obviously bigger. Doesnt look stupid, like some oher scoops, and required to maximise the effect of an STI intercooler.
