I now have for sale my Milltek exhaust system.
Its a complete system consisting of heat wrapped downpipe, middle section and backbox.
No cats but does have resonator in downpipe.
Fantastic exhaust which (when available) cost in excess of £1000. Great Subaru burble but being Milltek is not over loud, hence why i changed it.
We all know the quality of Milltek so please don't offer me silly money, its cheap enough as it is. It will polish up nice and bright.

Came off my classic but believe it will fit a newage by just moving one of the hangers.
If your looking for a system which retains the power gains and Subaru burble but is not over loud then this is perfect for you.








£250 picked up from me, sorry chaps but won't send it.

It's loud enough to sound nice. I would say similar to a prodrive system. It doesn't drone at cruising speed like most Impreza exhaust systems so would be perfect for somebody who uses their car daily.
I only swapped it for a louder system as my car is only used for a couple of hours on a Sunday.

The Milltek still sounds like a Subaru should but won't wake the entire street up when you pull away in the morning, lol.

I have one of these fitted to my car, they somehow give a great balance between a nice deep rumble outside the car, and very little drone inside..

Mine will still set sensitive car alarms off too !

Hi Matty,

A few questions mate:

• Is this a 3" system?
• How old is the exhaust?
• Do you know if this will fit a Hawkeye 2.5 STI (Type UK)?
• Will it meet track regs? (really got to be below 100db at 3/4 revs to be safe for drive by testing)

Problem I have is that time is very much against me in that the trackday I need it fitted for, is next Thursday 24th, hence why I was heading up to Powerstation on Saturday for a new system (albeit with sports cat).

If I go for yours, I'll need to collect, get someone to fit it for me and then sort a remap, but there is a chance that Bob Rawle can tweak his current map for me early next week.

So I need to be 100% sure that what you are offering (appreciate yours is a de-cat), will fit and do the job mate and won't have any time to put things right if not.

It's a complete 3" system all the way from the turbo with no cats. The downpipe is resonated which keeps the volume down. I am almost certain it will meet track day noise requirements. Milltek is known for it's quietness.
The exhaust came from powerstation and is about 4 years old but has no leaks what so ever. Was only removed from my car as I wanted a louder system.

As for fitment, in all honesty I'm not 100% sure. I have a horrible feeling that the downpipe is different but I could be wrong. I'm sure one of the Subaru guru's from here will know for sure. Ask in the general thread buddy.
If it does fit then you are more than welcome to come and collect when ever you like and I'll also knock £25 off the price if your traveling from afar.

Not gonna take the chance mate, despite the big savings, as I won't have enough time to sort things if it doesn't work out.

Litchfields are now fitting a Milltek for me on Friday and Bob Rawle is tweaking his map next Tuesday so I'll be all set for the track on Thursday.
