Acer Aspire 5100 Laptop - spares or repair
I have an old Acer Aspire laptop that has a couple of niggling faults that I've never gotten around to looking at.
The basic spec is here...

It has the usual spec, card reader, wireless and wired LAN capabilities, dvd rw, but there's no webcam built in. It's been sat in the cupboard for the last couple of years but is currently powered up and taking charge in the battery, but I couldn't vouch for how long it will hold charge. It is currently running XP SP2 (I don't recall ever loading SP3). There is other software installed, but consider that lot a freebie.
The known faults are...
Doesn't boot up every time - displays an ethernet cable error message.
Can trip into the blue screen of death if you pick it up (not every time).
If you plug in a USB device it will freeze.
I'm not sure what these are worth so I'll stick up a nominal figure, but please feel free to make offers.
£50 ono plus delivery and 4% for paypal fees (or gift to avoid paypal fees).
I suspect that these are a fairly easy fix.

Bump...
It takes and hold charge in the battery and seems to be booting okay at the moment, I've booted it up at least half a dozen times without an issue, although I have had the blue screen of death once by moving it since fully charging it last night. USB fault does still exist though - I haven't tried reinstalling the drivers yet.
