Gearbox is out of the car, so ready for collection car has 150k kilometers on the clock, gearbox was working perfectly before coming off the road for a lot work (6 speed swap, bigger brakes, fmic, standalone ecu).

you may have removed it from an MY97 but that is a post MY99 8bolt gearbox...........
