Is that an old cover on the turbo? Did you have to hack a lot away from the block to get it to fit?

it is the old cover yes. As per Paul Finch’s advice one of the compressors cover bolts was replaced with a cap head and a small amount of the compressor cover was shaved which massively helped clearance. A small amount was still taken off the block anyway, but it was only a small amount with a dremel.

I am the second owner, the first is a car that’s known to me who only had it on for a thousand miles before changing up to a ‘V’.

I think I’ve decided against this one as for my application I think the spool point might be too high.

great turbo specs wise, though!
