ACT Clutch - Performance Street Heavy Duty + Flywheel (Brand New) - Impreza WRX STi 06-07 2.5ltr

Bought from Tegiwa in February, stored in the house till build was ready to find its wrong clutch when offered up & no return was possible due the time from purchase.

I've got a Hatchback STI, totally my fault just ordered the wrong clutch when ordering a load of parts and just never double check. Expensive mistake.

if its for a 06-07 2.5 sti id have thought it would fit the hatch sti also.

ALL 6spd Impreza STi's and later saloon WRX STi cars use the same basis clutch and flywheel set-up.............

no reason for that not to work???

It looks like a 2.5 WRX 5 speed push type clutch cover to me, not an STI .

Thanks for this clarification, I have talked with my mechanic and he has confirmed that this is a Push Type clutch.

My knowledge on clutches doesn't stretch too far, specially between the different models. Are all WRX Push Type and STI Pull Type?

Tegiwa must of sent me the wrong clutch because all my invoices/emails say for a STi. Unfortunately the original box is long gone, i've just popped this one in my Competition Stage 3 Pull type box.

Hi Folks, Thanks for comments and assistants, looks like i've got to the bottom of it with some help of a combination of people that I have been talking with today. Using the part numbers written on the clutch its self I have manage to identify it its same as what I ordered SB11-HDSS-HD. This clutch is a Push Type and is used in a huge variety of Subaru Models, listed on the website.

Taken from the ACT site:Conversion Kit. Replaces original 230mm clutch. Must use ACT Flywheel (included in kit). Subaru has incorporated 240mm clutch components into production during mid-2018MY production starting with VIN J806877. ACT clutch kits and flywheels are not compatible with the revised OEM components. Fitment Note: 240mm upgrade. Must use ACT flywheel (included in kit).

If they recommended that kit for your application I would be asking them to return / exchange regardless of the timescale............
