Default SOLD

up for sale is my esl ecu removed from my 1997 impreza sti, im fitting avcs heads now and unfortunately will need another ecu to run them
its for v3/4 cars, the board is fitted to a jdm 6s sti ecu, will work fine in a uk car too, you just need to swap the cam and crank sensor ecu pins,
it has the motorsports pack which includes launch control, anti lag, full throttle shift and traction control, please see the esl manual for more info on how these work and how to wire in switches.
it will be supplied with a standard 6s sti basemap to get you running, or if needed i can load a maffless basemap, your choice.

the tuning cable is the obd type so make sure its the correct one for your car

ecu is £380 posted
cable is £75 posted
buyer to cover any fee's if using paypal

collection from leicester welcome

Maybe a bit dear mate, the whole new kit isn't a huge amount more than that really. Is that the correct cable? I have the same setup but my car has SSM rather than OBD.

I bought the whole heap new myself too along with the motorsports pack too. Great kit! Weird how Subaru chopped and changed between SSM and OBD! Best of luck with the sale.

Im guessing being a jap ecu there is no immobiliser and how would you go about getting the software?

Ive got a uk 98 reg car with 8s ecu so would need to switch the pins for crank and cam over in the ecu plug i take it? What about fuel pump thought that had to be swapped?. I know the basemap would be different to the uk car as heads etc are different but my car is running loads of non standard items bigger injectors etc so take it just a case of remapping to suit.

Whats the best you can do price wise can pm if you want.

If you do buy this I'll send you the 8S base map and the software. Both readily available from ESL themselves too.

And yes, you'll need to remap the ECU to your own spec for whatever mods you have. There's loads of threads active at the minute about doing just that, injector scaling and so on.
