is there a cat in the up pipe on the Sti? And (sorry for being dim) what's the difference between this and the one on the WRX?

To clarify I'm thinking of getting a remap on my blob wrx and this sounds like a good supporting mod

 

The STI one doesn't have a Cat in the up pipe, that's the difference and yes a very good and very advisable upgrade as it eliminates the risk of the cat destroying your turbo if/when it comes out the exhaust, plus helps spool your turbo.
