Default Gearbox TY752VN6AA

Hi All I have for sale a gearbox model no. TY752VN6AA which is listed as being fitted to UK MY98 Impreza turbo(but may fit other classics?), I was told it had covered only 60,000miles when I bought it and in perfect working order, I only found out it wasn't compatible with my bug, when a friend was going to fit it for me.
It comes complete with matching diff and I`m looking for £120 for it ovno.
I do have photos and hope to add soon, thanks Daron

Hi Ste21383, yes the ratio`s are slightly different and the speedo type is different and I recall something being wrong with the starter motor studs?
Hope that helps

I think the bugs have bolts that bolt through the box whereas the classics have 1 stud and 1 bolt, does yours have the stud and bolt setup ? If so I'm interested

I found an old post that said the 52 part of the code is a four bolt box and if it's 54 it's an eight bolt box so the one in this post should be a four bolt classic box, hope this helps

Scoobynshag, your spot on mate, I remember now that was one of the things I didn`t want to mod(as silly as it may seem)

Yeah it should fit mate, I changed my gearbox recently and it turned out someone had fitted a classic sti box anyway - I should be running TY754VN2AA like you as I've got a bug WRX.

Rear diff didn't like it sometimes (due to different ratios I suppose) but the car will run lol
