92-96 wrx engine,,,seems to run fine ,,no knocking etc but there are no plastic cam covers at all and a chip out of one of the cam pulleys,,not sure how thats happened,,can hear what i presume is the rollers for the cambelt tensioner,,,ive not heard an engine without all the covers before so not sure if this is normal ??? (im no expert),,,pretty much complete except turbo,,there is a spare cam pulley that was in the car,,,i have a video clip of it running here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN8y...ature=youtu.be

Not trying to hide anything as per desription and video,,,,must be a bargain for someone £190,,,, located northampton or willing to send on a pallet at cost.

is it a closed deck block?

Im no expert but if im right in thinking is it the closed deck that has some hatching markings on top of the casing below the alternator ?? if so i cant see any no
