Default Extremely rare MY 95 WRX Type RA Sti Version "1"

MY95 WRX TYPE RA Sti VERSION 1
*After only purchasing beginning of last month my circumstances have took a diversion, so I am offering this little gem up for sale.

*Came in to the UK in 2007 with 3 owners in total. Hpi clear.

*Complete with Import/Auction papers Grade 3.5!

*127k kilometers=84500 miles

*All Uk MOT’s.

*MOT August 14’

*Tax July 14’

*SIDC car member(previously)

*Subaru mechanic owned for last 3 years! Carnetix who have worked on my cars for the last 7 years employ the mechanic so its been pampered and had tlc.

*12/02/14 – Carnetix- Oil/filter Millers CFS 10w/60
-New ITP (Walbro) 154 fuel pump
-x2 ball joints
-x2 CV boots
- Steering rack gaitor

various reciepts between 08’ and now, but as car was owned by a Subaru mechanic work was done in-house by himself.

*2008 – New clutch

*2008 – Full Cambelt service (82k kilometers=54500 miles) Next one not due for another 15000 miles.

*Clifford alarm/immobilliser

*Clifford Black Jax Anti Hijack

*Only a few choice minor modifications trying to keep its rare originality-

Full Scorpion 2.5” stainless steel cat back exhaust mated to Open neck 3” wrapped downpipe for freeing up gas flow allowing the infamous Impreza rumble, not too loud!

Replaced inferior 2 pot front brake calipers to the later Sti 4 pots which work very well with the overall lightweight car.(fully refurbished 2013)

Fully automatic Greddy turbo timer.

New Hi flow panel filter.

Bit about the car-
Everything on the car works as it should including the most important DCCD which most of you reading this will know is an excellent feature, having adjustable bias centre differential control which virtually removes all the undertsteer biased handling associated with the lesser normal WRX versions.

*Genuine Carbon Fibre Front Strut Brace

*Pink Sti Rear Strut Brace

*Sti Bespoke suspension

*Sti embroided seats with increased supports( Sti logo stitching faded)

*Standard power from the flat four boxer engine is 280 bhp

*More desirable and stronger Closed Deck Block engine(Can run more boost over semi-open/open deck blocks if required)

*Exterior is in very tidy shape. Just had a professional machine polish and looks amazing with just a very few minor age related marks.

*Interior is amazingly tidy with only 1 pin head sized burn mark on passenger seat.

*Type RA Sti Version 1’s are the nearest thing to driving a rally car, with the 1190kg lightweight, reduced sound deadening, coupled together with the close ratio gearbox and the aforementioned adjustable centre differential control allowing the driver to fine tune the handling under power and have a better and ultimately even more enjoyable car.

Cheers Mick

Cars don't move as well as they use to with the old disposable income!!

Had all good intentions of either a full restoration to 95' or turn in to track car....

Work commitments have diverted my attentions!

Pics of all 4 arches, as can see there in pretty good condition with only very slight surface rust in very early stages on o/s/r.

Slight rust in battery.

Specticles of very slight surface rust n/s/f wing above front side bumper.

As can see rear floor pan is fine with only a wire brush rubdown needed.

It's had underseal at some point in 08' but obviously could do with another coat.

Please note something I forgot to put in ad, just above Oval Sti badges on both wings it looks like some form of stickers have been as a slight adhesive reaction with paintwork. Not noticeable until really close and you know it's there!

As for mapping the previous owner has not long had decat back fitted and was about to have Jolly Green Simon to map.
Obviously it did not get to that as I bought it with the whole intention of an ESL board being fitted/mapped with 550 injectors and ARC top mount.

Car has done very little miles off boost since and has been locked up in garage since my purchase....

Sorry for delay had busy hectic weekend!!
