WRX Type RA STI V5 Limited - SOLD
Hi, my RA is up for sale.
Its a V5 STI Type RA Limited, no. 17/1000
3 months tax and 9 months MOT
Clock shows just over 90k but don't know when it was converted to miles.
The engine was rebuilt by Neil at Slowboy Racing using a version 8 short engine and refurbed version 5 heads, the aircon was also removed. The DCCD was refurbished and the gearbox and rear diff were both serviced.
He also fitted a low mileage VF28, new MAF sensor, front disks and pads, rear pads and fresh brake fluid.
The car is running on VR1 10-60 Racing oil and only gets either V-power or Tesco 99 fuel.
All this was done at 88,650 so its only done around 1500 miles since rebuild.
There is also Japanese service history aswell as a UK service book with stamps.
There are a couple of small issues with the car.
Theres some marks on the body, the car has had wind deflectors fitted at some point and these have marked the paint where they've been removed, theres also a very small amount of surface rust on the rear n/s arch (not bad but wants sorting). Normal age related marks as to be expected on a car of this age.
The fuel flap doesn't open without being pulled while the lever inside the car is held up, its the little release spring which is missing, im currently trying to source one!
All in all its a very nice, unmolested example of a STI Type RA, the only modification being an Afterburner cat back exhaust which isn't too loud either. It drives very well and pulls strongly through all the gears.
I would also include in the sale the following:
A Hayward & Scott decat downpipe
Set of clear front and side indicators
SOLD

New top mounts are on order and should be fitted this coming week.
Im reducing the asking price to £6500 with all the extra parts included, don't think the car im after will be around much longer so the Scoob needs to go

Right, iv viewed and put a deposit down on a car today so need this gone sharp-ish.
Im open to sensible offers and if the buyer doesn't want the extra wheels etc then an agreement on a price can be made.

It was Neil @ Slowboys car.
Im not sure regarding the fuel, there's nothing in the paperwork that mentions mapping.
Its always ran on 99 Momentum or V-Power.
