Default 2005 uk sti 47k, 2.1 stroker

Reluctantly putting up for sale my 2005 sti in wrc blue.
Unfortunately the car is not being used enough for my liking due to work and family commitments. A lot of thought has gone into this and it's time to be sensible. So onto the car

2005 uk sti, widetrack
47k miles with full service history
Gfb stealth bov (set to recirculate)
K&n typhoon caik
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Prodrive high flow sports cat
Scoobyclinic 3" centre section and backbox
Ast coilovers
Md321t turbo
Hyperflow monster Fmic
P.e 650cc injectors
Lateral performance gt spec 2 headers and uppipe

In the past few months this car has had 7k spent on it, including an engine tuner 2.1 stroker build and an alcatek Ecu fitted and mapped by JGM.
The build consisted of a 2.0 later cdb with under piston oil squirters, rear thrust conversion to accommodate a new 79mm nitrided crank, acl race bearings, k1 rods, mahle pistons, rcm oil pump, cosworth gaskets and an rcm baffled sump.
The car has only covered approx 2.5k since the build and the alcatek fitted soon after. The car has a private plate which will come with the car (t** wrx) it also sits on 18" pff7's wrapped in nearly new 225/40/18 s001 (wheels recently refurbed). Taxed and test till end of April. Asking price is £11995 ono. This is priced based on a standard widetrack in this condition fetching 9k plus and the recent cost of the upgrades and is fairly priced in my opinion. The car is currently running approx 430bhp at 1.6 bar but would benefit from a 3 bar map sensor and a tweak (I'd expect to see around 450)

No time-wasters please and pics will be added when I'm home from work on the weekend. I can be contacted through pm or text on 07769112552.

This is a nice clean car and it's with a heavy heart that I'm selling as I'm sure a lot of you can understand. Thanks for your interest

I know mate. It's daft really and leaves me well out of pocket but it's wasted on me. Barely turns a wheel. Needs to go somewhere it'll get used and appreciated and not tootled about on the occasional Sunday as a family car

Why spend all that money and scrimp on adding a 3 bar map sensor?

Looks a lovely car and should fly off the market...

Schoolboy error. Had autronics on the car once upon a time and that had a built in 3 bar map sensor. Wasn't aware when putting the alcatek on that the standard map sensor maxed out at 1.6 bar.
Cheers

Bump. Very reluctant sale hence the lack if advertising. Don't want to sell this car but the wife needs something practical for day to day use. Will swap for similarly priced diesel

Bttt... Back up for sale due to a change in circumstances. Still the same price of £11995 but car now has tax till the end of the year and test until may. Car has had the turbo rebuilt using a billet wheel and a 3 bar map sensor fitted as well as a service. Still really don't want to sell this car so no silly offers please but needs must. Would swap for a nice 4x4. Thanks

Hi there, what a lovely example this is.
Shame you cant remove some of the mods and reduce the price a bit, im desperate for a blue widetrack blobeye with a budget of around £9k but they are like golddust at the moment.
Good luck with the sale fella im sure it will sell.

That's true mate. Trust me I'd rather not sell but another baby on the way is forcing my hand. Cracking car and it will be missed when the right buyer comes along

Thank you. I appreciate your comment. This is a cracking car and a real shame to be selling, just need something bigger. Definitely a bargain at that price considering the money its had spent on it in the last few months

Thank you. Figured I'd underpriced it by around 2k as was hoping for a quick sale before changing my mind. Had plenty of interest but people offering 10k. Cars already to cheap as it is but not a single viewing. Just can't weigh it up ha
