Default Any interest. 01 Bug wagon fairly modded dying engine.

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone would be interested in buying my wagon

It's developing a knock. I'm suspecting its a big end bearing. I could pull it and swap the block but I just don't have the time or the spare cash to pay someone to do it. It does drive and still boosts etc but is noisy on start up then it quietens down. It just passed it's MOT with only an advisory for a cv boot. no rust

The first person with £2,000 gets it. The
parts alone are worth a fair bit. plus the usual panels diff/ gearbox etc fetching reasonable money.

Here is a list of the goodies.[/FONT

STI TOP MOUNT INTERCOOLER
3 PORT BOOST SOLENOID
FORGE DUMP VALVE ( sorry not a goodie lol )
X3 DEFI GAUGES + CONTROLLER AND GAUGE POD (OIL TEMP,PRESSURE,BOOST)
PEDDERS COILOVERS WITH CUSTOM REAR TOP MOUNTS
LENSO D1R MONOBLOCK ALLOYS DECENT
TREAD (VERY LIGHT WHEELS)

BLUE GOODRIDGE BRAIDED LINES
STI SALOON FRONT BUMPER CONVERSION WITH WINGS
FULL RACE DYNAMIX REMAP TO 1.3 BAR OF BOOST ON ECUTEK LICENCE
PERRIN INLET PIPE
FRONT AND REAR STRUT BRACES
SOLID REAR DROP LINKS
STI 8 SCOOP
HIGH LEVEL AND WAIST LINE SPOILERS
FULLY DECATTED EXHAUST FROM THE UP PIPE BACK.[/FONT

As you can see it has a fair few bits done to it. it will come with a set of original headlights and grill instead of the morrettes as I had already promised a swap with someone before the engine shat itself

Body wise its not amazing yet still manages to look pretty good after a clean, the bonnet is quite stone chipped and the paint on the wings is not brilliantit has a few small car park dents and one large one in the right rear quarter. Its got lots of paperwork including the original bill of sale and 2 keys..etc etc.

If you were going to be modding your newage anytime soon all those parts wouldbe a small fortune, it would be a cracking car with a new block or a greatdonor.

Cheers.

Dan

2,500 with all the mods??

the wheels, defi's and coilovers would be worth 1,200 alone.

Thanks for the reply though

My offer of £1200 still applies... That's a good price for a wrx wagon with need of a new engine being honest.
