Thumbs up 55 Plate UK Subaru STi For Sale !!!!

Im just testing the water to see what response I get from this but I will be selling my 55 plate Subaru STi next month.

I bought the car 4 years ago for £14k and have since spent £12k on her that includes a full bottom end rebuild by API last month, since the rebuild the car has only done 300 (three hundred) miles. It has the Syvec ECU in it that was re mapped by Pat at Scoobyclinic. All the work that has been done to my car has been completed by either Scoobyclinc, Scoobyworld or API. All services are up to date, 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax is on the car at present. It is Blue with the Rally decals. New Pirelli Tyres and Wheels were put on 700 miles ago. All oils are changed every 4000 miles. Ive only ever used V Power in the car, new clutch and flywheel were changed 700 mies ago also. It will also come with the private plate of S3UBY.

If you want the list of work that the car has had done PM your email address me and I will send you an email with picture.

Car is running at just under 360 BHP

Looking at £12k which I have been informed is a very fair price as most are going for around £9/10k with around 40,000 miles on the clock without the bottom end rebuild.

Cheers

Darren

I think you're aiming a little high but it is a fresh engine so maybe you'll find the market for it.

Hi Ved,

I don't think I am too be honest. My mate paid £10k for his with no bottom end rebuild and no Syvec ECU in it. People were asking £9/10k for really bad examples out there and mine isn't ! Your getting a lot of car for the money and to be truthful what other cars out there will give you as much fun as a Scooby with a fresh new engine !

Cheers

Daz, thanks for all the info, I did get your messages.

Can I ask, why did the car need a bottom end rebuild? Was it a piece of mind thing or is this something that should be done at a certain age/mileage?

It's your car mate so stick it up for whatever you want to. If your not in a rush to sell then you might get the right person willing to pay close to the asking price, also and this is just my opinion btw, I would remove the decals as they aren't to a lot of people's taste. GLWTS though mate.

Has the car finished the running in process with only 300 miles on it since the engine was done, Was it a standard rebuild or stroker etc....

Thanks Matt but most people like the decals but I get what your saying ! With regards to the bottom end rebuild the car was about to reach 69000 miles and I wanted it done and it was a good job I did as one of the con rods needed replacing ! So it was all replaced at a cost of £4k. It still needs 700 miles to run it in and then a filter and oil change once this has been done. At present it's not being driven over 4000 rpm.

Gazz, sorry forgot to say the bottom end re build is all forged and fine up to 420 BHP but API said they would be happy with it sitting at around 390 BHP as a good solid running car !

On the clock it states 62,000 but its just had a bottom end rebuild so it is sitting at 320 miles on the fresh engine right now. Thanks.

I got the mileage wrong as I thought it was showing 69000 when the bottom end was done.

Ok, I'll put full details and pictures up of my car but just to give you an idea it's running at just under 360BHP, it has the Syvec ECU in it and was mapped by Pat at Scoobyclinic. I have spent around £12k on the car in the last 4 years which includes a full bottom end rebuild that was done by API and the engine has 500 miles on it. Clutch and flywheel was changed 6 months ago along with Pirelli tyres.

£10,500 gets you a very loved and looked after STi.

Any questions before I put full details on please ask away.

Cheers

Thanks

Hi Gman,

Changed Tirno when Syvec was fitted but it is a stock one. Will have around 50,000 miles on it. Went to get my coilovers services today but they were leaking so all 4 have been changed for new ones under the warranty.

Thanks

I don't normally post negativity but the comment made it was overpriced was spot on
you paid way too much for it and spent stupid amounts on it and will never see a return
I paid 25.5 for a new sti ppp in 2003 sold it 2 years later for half
oh and most people like the decals? don't think so
good luck anyway hope you get a lot for it
