I'm near reading in Berkshire. Car will be having the cambelt done in the next day or 2 as I've just realised its overdue. The wheel bearing is optional to the buyer, I can either get it done, or they can have the cost off of the car so they can get it done in there own time, I leave it upto them.

Andy, is it just having the belt done or a cambelt kit? If its only the belt I'd prefer to get the job done myself with a full kit. Wheel bearing I can do at the same time.

I'm not sure yet. The mechanic was going to inspect the tensioners etc, and if needed replace them.

Cambelt replaced today with new auxilery belts too.

The mechanic did also find that the boost solenoid is playing up, so this will be replaced in the next few days.

Thanks
Andy
