Exclamation 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX-STI Type UK PPP 400 BHP 350 FtLbs Torque

I’ve been the lucky 4thowner of this car for just over a year. The previous owner had the car almost 8years (he was a Scooby fanatic and well known in Scooby circles) and took itfrom standard (with the PPP fitted) to almost the current spec.

This car has beenfastidiously maintained and enhanced with only the best components available. Thefuelling, turbo and intake components are rated to far above the current tune –this car is capable of a lot more with only a ECU swap and remap needed.

Following another re-mapby Duncan Graham (RaceDynamix) in June 2012 the car now produces 400 bhp and 347FtLbs torque as recently measured on the Evolve Dyno Dynamics rolling road on 2ndApril 2013.

The car has just beenserviced and passed its’ last MOT on 26/03/13 with no advisories. The car istaxed until 30/10/13. The car currently has 78551 miles on the clock but willincrease slightly as the car gets driven every week.

The car comes with thefull prior service history (10 stamps present in the service book, from the maindealer whilst under warranty and then by Mocom Racing whilst with the previousowner). I have all the old MOTs to prove the mileage, I also have the ProdrivePerformance Pack certificate and a large binder of old receipts and invoicesfor work carried out on the car. There are over £10k of receipts in my folderand there are also a lot of missing receipts – I suspect the total build costis over £20k plus the value of the car!!!

Here is a LONG list ofmodifications carried out on the car:

Engine:
Lateral Performance MD321TTurbo (76mm inlet)
Sparco Turbo Inlet hose
Mocom Racing Parallel FuelRails
Sard 800cc Injectors
Aeromotive Fuel PressureRegulator
Phenolic Inlet ManifoldSpacers
Prodrive 3 port boostsolenoid
Perrin Front MountIntercooler
Blow through MAFconversion
Dump Valve delete
RCM Induction trumpet andfilter (In inner wing)
Cold air feed through foglight cover
Harvey Smith custom uppipe (DEI heat wrapped by Harvey)
Perrin equal lengthheaders (DEI heat wrapped by Harvey)
Twin scroll sump (forheaders to fit)
Hayward & Scott 3”fully de-catted exhaust
NGK PF7RB spark plugs
Custom expansion andradiator overflow bottle
Mocom Racing baffled catchcan

Suspension:
BC Racing coilovers withextended adjusters
Perrin 25mm Rear Anti RollBar
Perrin 22mm Front AntiRoll Bar
Perrin Stoutmount for rearAnti Roll Bar
Perrin Rear & FrontDroplinks
Perrin Subframe Lockdownkit
Front strutbrace

Brakes / Wheels:
HEL braided lines
Braketech Grooved disks(front)
EBC Bluestuff pads (front)
Mokul Dot 5.1 fluid
18” Speedline TuriniWheels (summer)
Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta235/40/18 tyres (summer)
17” Subaru Prodrive Wheels(winter)
Pirelli Sotto Zero225/45/17 tyres (winter)
Kics R40 wheelnuts

Interior:
Depo racing 60mm Boost,Oil Pressure & Oil Temperature gauges in carbon fibre pod
ScanGauge 2
Sony Head Unit
Subaru Forester Single Dinpocket
Prodrive Gearnob
B&M short shifter

I am fairly sure that ismost of it but I may well have missed something !!!

Myself and the previousowner are “mature” well over 40 anyway … the car has not been tracked, thrashedor abused in any way. The car is always warmed up and down, the best qualitylubricants used and changed regularly.

Being 10 years old now (bornon 19th March 2003) there are one or two minor marks on thepaintwork. The car is regularly cleaned and polished inside and out and looksfantastic!!!

I am currently removing myprivate plate from the car and the original age related plate restored to thecar along with all the appropriate paperwork. I did a full HPI check when Ibought the car which came back clean.

Now the sad bit – I amonly having to sell this car to fund paying the Inland Revenue and mygirlfriend’s legal fees. However I am not in a rush to sell the car and willonly consider reasonable offers.

Hey Boyd, Hope you are well and thriving See you are back in the Scooby fold then ... didn't the Type R cut it?

It is breaking my heart to sell her ... I truly love this car

But I have some rather large bills to pay ... i.e. the Inland Revenue and my girlfriend's legal fees to sort out her dick of an ex I see no other way ....

Rest assured I want to see her go to a good caring home

Gutted for you mate.

Hated the Type R (much like you hated other cars) and got rid after two months.

Loving the JDM STi. Twin scroll is a thing of beauty!

I can obviously vouch for the car Tim is selling as it was mine before him and when I first bought it it was a bog standard STi PPP. All the big bills attached to it I paid for and couldn't bring myself to add them up when I sold it to Tim.
