Subaru Impreza WRX (Import)
IMPORTANT
(Possible Headgasket failure)
Low mileage
79K (126000km)
9 months MOT
3 Months Tax
I have owned the car for nearly 5 years and have loved every minute. Its been very, very reliable over the years, only every had one problem and that was the AFM in 2008, apart from that, its been amazing.
---IMPORTANT---
Only last month I took it in for a service and have was told that sadly it may have started to have a head gasket problem.
It still drives well, and have checked the levels and seem ok, however I do fear the worst may come eventually. However if treated ok, it could run and run.
When we did the head gasket test, the liquid only slightly changed to green (still alot of blue) so I think its at the start.
I do not have the time to fix it or give it the attention it needs due to my job. (Alot of travelling)
Engine
Low mileage 79K (126000km) New timing belt fitted at Subaru4You in 2007.
Starts first time everytime without fail
HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve
KandN Induction kit
Oil changed 2 months ago (with MOT)
Mobil 1 15W-50 is an advanced full synthetic motor oil
Always ran on V-Power. (Have never touched normal unleaded)
Warmed up & cooled down before every journey without fail (Turbo timer)
Exhaust
Full decat exhaust system with 5inch Tailpipe
I have the original CAT, this is included in the sell.
Gearbox/Clutch
Standard
Interior
Standard interior
Kenwood Headunit
Bose speakers
Suspension
Tein S springs Lowered 50mm
Brakes
Standard
Wheels
18inch White Inovit ST VI Alloys with 215/35/18 tyres
All tyres with around 5-7mm tread
Exterior
Geniune STI Spoiler
STI genuine clear lights
Facelift Crystal Clear headlights
Facelift Front grill
Clear side repeaters
Front bumper with JUN Splitter included in the sale
It's 17 Years old so lets be realistic:
Nardi steering wheel starting to show a bit of wear
Due to decals the rear left door has some paint that's peeled off
Front bumper scratch (but I have a bumper with JUN splitter included in the sale)
One alloy has kerbing
Abit of rush by sideskirt and back arch (nothing major)
Some mold near rear window
One hole in drivers seats
The odd shopping car park dent (gits - how dare they!)
MOT advisories
Replace timing belt (This was done 4 years ago, personally I think its fine)
Slight oil leak (Oil topped up/checked every 2 weeks)
Slight Power steering leak
Back brushes slightly worn
This is perfectly usable as an everyday car, which I have been doing for the last 4 years. It is very quick and it idles perfectly, drives tight and has been very reliable. Unfortunately it now has the HG issue.
The car hasn't been driven for a while and garaged (just started up and taken round the block to keep things moving)
I am a genuine seller and am being extremely honest as well as realistic with the price. This is a great project for someone who loves Japanese cars and has time and knowledge!
I am in no rush to sell and want it to go to a good home. I am open to SENSIBLE offers.
Please no test pilots, tyre kickers, chavs or canvassers. I am more than willing to let people take her for a test drive as long as you have proof of insurance and prove that you can afford to buy and insure her.
Don't forget in this great deal comes the CAT(for Mot's) and a front bumper with a splitter)
