Impreza 1994 wrx jdm uprated engine rebuild simtek approx 300bhp
Here I am selling my pride and joy that I have owned for nearly 5 years and have treated it as if it were my child with no expense spared what so ever
with over £18,000 spent in the time I've owned the car! She spends most of the time locked up safely in my garage and rarely gets used, she only comes
out for the big car shows in the summer.
Spec list as follows:
1994 Subaru Impreza WRX with a very strong fully rebuilt STi9 bottom end costing over £4500 built professionally by a Subaru
specialist in 2008 and has done less than 8000 miles since. Engine upgrades are Mahle forge piston, race bearings, STI9 con rods crank ect. This engine is strong for up to 450bhp but is running approx 300bhp (estimated by Bob Rawle who mapped the car but never gave me a print out). It has a Simtek ecu with 2 map settings on a switch (eco and sports mode) and paid the extra £150 for anti lag but rarely use it, fitted and mapped by Bob Rawle of Swindon costing £1140 fitted not long ago. The car has the group N short ratio gearbox and accelerates much quicker than most other Impreza's. Other mods includes BC coilovers with softness and ride hight adjusters only just fitted, Walbro 255 fuel pump, uprated oil pump and water pump, P1 4 pot brakes with grooved dics and uprated pads, Blitz Nur spec stainless 3" turbo back decat exhaust with 4" back box fitted late last year, front mount intercooler and pipe kit (not yet fitted but can be included) bumper has been cut ready for FMIC, 18" alloys, one wheel is brand new as the old one had some kerbing, brand new Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres only covered less than 20 miles! Clifford concept 650 alarm and immob with 2 key fobs, TD05 turbo HkS dump valve, carbon fibre rear high level p1 spoiler, recent cambelt change and service, always gently warmed up and cooled down correctly, it has a turbo timer, always run on V-power, if i cant get to a shell garage i will use tesco99 but i do make special journeys to the other side of town to a shell garage just to use Vpower. always had a subaru specialist to do my services and to fit the uprated parts. Tax has run out, has mot. The bodywork is in pretty good condition for its age, there is a small dent in the boot and some surface rust on one of the arches which is hardly noticeable but never got the chance to get sorted hence the low asking price. Apart from that the car runs and drives like a dream and is a very quick car. I think i have pretty much covered everything but any questions please ask.
