Default Blobeye wrx 60k miles. 2003 (53 Reg) Modified.

For sale is my UK Blobeye wrx 1st registered in December 2003. I've owned this car since October 2009 (bought from Subaru specialist RRH Autos) and loved every minute of driving it. I'm now putting her up for sale as I’m moving on to an STI. I have covered just over 20k miles in the time that I have owned it and it has been faultless. The mileage will increase slightly as it is my daily car.

Since I have owned the car I have been upgrading parts to improve the suspension, braking and finally the engine performance.

Brakes:
Godspeed Grooved vented front discs (Fitted January)
EBC Orangestuff Front pads (fitted January)
Braided brake hoses all round
Motul 5.1 DOT brake fluid

Suspension:
Prodrive lowering springs
Whiteline 24mm Rear anti roll bar
CDF Racing solid rear drop links

Engine & Exhaust:
Cosworth panel filter
NGK PFRB7 spark plugs
Walbro 255 fuel pump
STI up pipe DEI wrapped
3” Bellmouth decatted downpipe DEI part wrapped
Afterburner centre section
Prodrive backbox
Remapped by FB Tuning

Whilst I have owned the car I have had all of the servicing and maintenance done at FB Tuning, I have also had an interim oil and filter change done every 6 months. I have only used Millers CFS engine oil and will be carrying out the interim oil and filter change in the next week. It has always been run on either V power or Tesco 99 fuel.

The car is now running 262bhp and 290ft lbs of torque following the re-map, which has made a considerable difference to the driveability of the car. I have the graphs from the power run available (dyno’d at Surrey Rolling Road on the 7th April) to confirm figures.

The tyres were replaced in October last year with Falken FK452’s all round.

I have nearly all of the original parts that have been replaced or upgraded, that will come with the sale of the car and a set of OZ racing 17” alloys originally from a P1 that I bought to go on the car but haven’t got round to fitting them.

The car passed its MOT in March with no advisories (as it did the previous year) and the tax is due at the end of May.

I have the original owners manual, service history and both keys.

Bad points – the car is 8yrs old and has some stone chips in the front bumper, the front fog light has a crack in it (it still works) and the rear bumper has a small scuff.

No canvassers, dreamers or test pilots. Test drives will not be given until proof of valid fully comprehensive insurance otherwise I will drive.

I'm looking for £4,750 although sensible offers will be considered.

Any inspection welcome.

Thanks,

Jamie
