Default 350bhp+ Blobeye WRX with mods!

Thinking about putting the car up for sale as marc’s (Sparky1988) is selling his STi and I’m considering buying it.

It’s a 53 plate Bright Red WRX, around 78000 miles but I need to check.

I’ve done a lot of work to the car over the 1.5 years I’ve had it and most of it is in my build thread. Here is a quick rundown of parts off the top of my head:

Engine,

· EJ205 on 10w/40 millers oil’s
· 550cc top feed Injectors (STi Pinks)
· IHI VF35 Turbocharger

· STI red inlet manifold with TGV’s removed

· 76mm Silicon turbo inlet
· APS Style Intercooler
· Zero Sports Undertray with water jets
· STI Silicone Intercooler y pipe
· SARD Fuel pressure regulator
· Do Luck Air Filter
· Walbro 255lph Fuel pump
· Baileys VTA dump valve
· PFR7B NGK Sparkplugs
· Triple braided silicon coolant hoses
· 1.3 Bar radiator cap
· Japspeed 3” full decat downpipe with heat wrap
· Japspeed straight through centre section
· Toyosports decat up-pipe
· Hayward & Scott after burner vortex
· Carbon Fibre cooling panel
· Exeddy stage 1 organic clutch
· Andy F and Trackhound remaps to 355-360bhp with simlar lb/ft torque figure.

Brakes and Handling,

· Tein Super Street 16 way adjustable dampening adjustable coilover suspension, refurbished just over a year ago.

· Front STI Brembos callipers with Red Stuff pads and Brembo sport drilled disks
· Rear Brembo callipers with Brembo disks and oversized handbrake conversion
· Goodrich braided brake lines on rear
· 18” Rota Grid Drift 8.5jj +45et wheels
· Uniroyal Rainsport tyres on the front (500 miles), Michelin pilot sport on the rear, stretched.

Interior,

· Blue STI front and rear seats with door cards
· Blue STI mats
· Carbon fibre wrapped centre console
· Autogauge stepper boost gauge
· STI gear surround
· STI dash clocks
· STI sill covers

Styling

· Subaru front and rear spat kit
· HT Autos STI splitter
· Hella Supertone horns in green
· De badged front grill
· Various Stainless steel engine dress up parts/hoses
· De-tangoed headlights
· Rear spoiler removed (not filled)
· STI colour coded side skirts
· TRS front tow strap
· Private shortened reg plate (Y7 SUB)
· STI fog covers
· Rays Volk black wheel nuts
· Lowered on the Tein’s
. Will supply with original Spoiler.

I’ve spent a tonne of money on the car (around £13k+) .

The brakes have around 1000 miles on them, the tyres are good, just changed the engine and gbox oils about 4-5 weeks ago.

I’ve taken pretty good care of the car and I don’t really use it very often. Its only up for sale as I’m considering buying Marc’s car. I had the car at RA Motorsport not too long after I bought it for a winter check and it came back with only the suspension being a bit tired so that when I fitted the Tein coilovers.

Bad points:

  • · The Zero/Sports undertray rubs against the larger intercooler and make a rattling sound, can put the standard one back on if you wish, it will come with the std one anyway.
  • · Small amount of paint flaking of the rear bumper about 2” x 2”
  • · The paint on the scoop is a bit tired and a little pinky
  • · The paint on the splitter is chipped from those damn speed bumps!
  • · It needs a good clean!

I will put 12months MOT and 6 months tax if I get the full asking price. Price is negotiable for STI suspension, STI wheels and non-private plate.

Some pics, (top one most recent, others are from various times during the build)

£6000, £5200 with sti sus, sti wheels, std plate.

Thanks

12 months and 2 week MOT and 6 months tax just put on the car.

Set of upgraded front and rear drop links getting fitted as the std ones are worn when I had it MOT'ed.

3" miltek exhaust system fitted also, DP back.

Thanks. I've got an APS 70mm CAIK and APS SR40 both in red that will make that engine bay a wee bit nicer and a little faster (maybe), I guess I could include that in the sale!
