Default My 2003 STI Blob JDM Twin Scroll in Premium Silver

Hi Everyone,

I have unfortunately come to the time when other priorities in life (family/need to buy house) take over and I must do the sensible thing and sell up to buy something boring, economical and worth less money

I am not a big poster on here but have been joined on here since I bought my first Subaru.

Anyway enough of the sob story...

Details:

2003 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - JDM Version 8 (Import) in Premium Silver.

This car was imported from new by Litchfield Imports in 2003 and prepared by them for the UK with a remap for UK 99RON and an increase in power to around 330-340 BHP with similar Torque.

Car has Full Service History with invoices and all old MOT's. All ways run on VPower, warmed up and cooled down properly.

Includes 6 months Tax (£215 per year), 12 months MOT just Passed with NO advisories.

Work just done includes
Full Geometry/Alignment done at Roger Clarke Motorsport
Full Cambelt service replacing belt guides, Idlers, Tensioner and auxiliary belts done by FB Tuning using genuine parts.
Recent replacement of Gearbox Oil, 5.1 Brake fluid, Engine oil and uprated panel air filter.
Brand new Brake Discs all round (Pagid)
Currently has 49,200 genuine miles on the clock.
It is completely clear on HPI and has never been in an accident of any kind.

Standard equipment includes...
EJ207 - stronger 2.0 JDM engine
Twin Scroll Turbo
Equal Length Stainless Manifold
Larger profile Cam Shafts
Bigger Valves
Stronger Pistons
Stronger Con Rods
Nitrated Crank
8000rpm redline
Titanium STI Strut Brace

Red glow instruments with Sweep Check on start up.
Short Shift 6 Speed gearbox
DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential)
Rear Wash Wiper
Reverse alarm
Clutch only start
Different rear Tail light configuration(two round lights)
ECU with built in Launch Control, Anti Lag and other JDM specific features(not enabled).
CAT 1 Alarm
ISOFIX mounting points for baby seats

Modifications:
Lichfield Remap - around 330-340BHP
18” Prodrive alloys (refurbished)– Goodyear Eagle F1’s with good tread all round
CUSCO Titanium Exhaust Cat Back.
New Gold KYB rear shocks
New Eibach Pro lowering springs all round
Upgraded ARB droplinks - unknown brand
Polybushed ARB Droplinks
Uprated Panel filter.
Defi BF Guages (Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp) with Defi Link Controller and Defi Pod.
Adjustable Lightweight rear spoiler
RAC Tracker – needs subscription
Undersealed again recently.
Kenwood CD Player

This car is in excellent overall condition and needs nothing, you will not be disappointed. It pulls very well in every gear, engine is perfect, smooth and refined. There are NO noises/bangs or squeaks. It steers straight and true, turns beautifully with tons of grip, gearshifts are precise with a very tight gearbox.
Interior is excellent, no marks/rips. Does not seem to have been smoked in.

Bad Points:
Nothing major here, but every car has them - would rather be honest.

Boot has been sprayed at some point, I dont know why but there is no accident damage so perhaps due to a dent/scratch/repoval of spoiler?
Boot release not working, must be opened by key
*update-bodyshop checked boot and its just where spoiler paint has been blended in with boot, no damage of any kind, they also noted that paint and panels are in very good condition.
Audio is rubbish. Has good head unit but rubbish door speakers - maybe this is normal?! CD Changer does not play CD's very well. Maybe a simple solution but I use an Ipod so never investigated further.
Few very small scratches here and there on body
Very small scuff on rear bumper, you would not notice it unless you really looked hard.

Looking for £8500

No rediculous/unrealistic offers, I am not in a major hurry!

Wee tip if your boot only opens with the key it is because there is a wee lever on the boot lock internally you need to switch which allows the boot to be opened using both key and handle in the car.

Free BTTT for a well priced lovely looking car
