1997 Subaru Forester T/TB
SOLD SOLD SOLD
For sale is my Subaru Forester T/TB, Import. Automatic
Low miles, with 65k.
2 Months Tax
2 Months MOT
Bodywork is sound with a couple of small dings here an there. Expected with the age of the vehicle. No rust.
There is part of the front windscreen external plastic strip missing. Not at all noticeable due to the car being Black. It does not leak either.
Interior is perfect. No rips, tares etc. Included with the car is a Pioneer AppRadio which is a great stereo if you have an iPhone 4. It also has a reversing camera linked to the screen of the Pioneer stereo.
There are a couple of mechanical issues with the car.
1. The ABS light is intermittent, will stay off for days on end then go through a period of coming on for a few days. I have a full set of sensors to go on the car including the tone wheels. These are obviously included with the car. I have not fitted them myself as I dont have the time. And I know they can be a pain to change due to the bolts seizing.
2. Sometimes there is a little hesitation from the engine while accelerating. I think this is due to the TPS sensor. As when I read the codes it came up with the code for the TPS. Its not the Lambda as I have changed this. Again, this is an intermittent fault.
Apart from the above, everything else mechanical and electrical functions as it should.
Turbo is in good condition.
Car has always been run on Super Unleaded fuel. Usually Tesco Momentum.
The car is fitted with replica 18" BBS LM Wheels with good tyres all round.
There is a boost gauge in a a-pillar pod.
A Ninja full stainless system with decat pipe.
Other than the issues above the car is a very nice drive. Handles pretty well for what it is.
I am open to offers on this car due to its issues but would like to see around the £1300 mark.
I purchased it earlier in the year for £2500 before the small issues appeared. Remember it has very low miles for its age.
Car is not in use which is the reason I am selling it. Otherwise I would fix issues and use it but have a Impreza Wagon which I am currently running.
Could be a bargain for someone with the time to sort the little issues.
PM me for my contact details if you wish to discuss over the telephone or by text message.
Car is located in Woolacombe, North Devon, EX34
Cheers
