Default MY00 Subaru Impreza Turbo, 330bhp, Rebuilt Engine, Ex-Show Car, Stunning, 56k Miles

"Absolutely stunning condition inside and out and sensibly modified with all the right parts and now with a rebuilt & uprated Engine. This Impreza has the reliability of STi/Brembo Components from the Newage STi's fitted into the much lighter chassis which is completely immaculate and rust free."

So why should you consider this one over the other Classic Impreza's out there?

All the modifications have been carefully chosen after much deliberation and research and simply they work... this is a very rapid and reliable road car with the braking and handling to match the performance.

This car has x 2 A4 Binders full of receipts for every component purchased and every bit of Servicing that this car has ever had.

The engine has now been run in and fully health checked on the rolling road with all print outs available.

This is my 4th Impreza and I searched the length and breadth of the Country for this. The car simply HAS to been seen, quite possibly one of the best Classics available today and has been owned by enthusiast/Subaru club members all its life.

This car was previously a Show'N'Shine Trophy Winner at JapBash 2009.Being a Semi-professional detailer the Car has been maintained in this Condition during my Ownership.

1st registered Nov 2000
Will now come with 12 Months MOT
3 Months Tax
3 previous owners
The last owner had the Car since Feb 2003 and was a fellow Subaru enthusiast in his 30`s like myself.

Currently covered 56,000 miles.
Only covered 500 Miles on rebuilt engine.
Always Garaged and dry use only at Weekends.
Low mileage over the last 7 years and only covered 4000 miles in the last couple of years.

HPI clear, with 2 HPI reports in the service history folder.

Several Rolling Road Print Outs including a low boost run upon engine rebuild and a high boost run carried out after running in Period.

All old MOT's and, all old Tax disks.

The previous owner used an ex Ralliart Mechanice for Servicing and I have used a local specialist during my Ownership. Engine rebuild carried out by Tim Farmer (EX Zen Performance Mechanic with 100`s of Subaru Rebuilds under his belt.)

Very reluctant sale. I looked long and hard for for the very best classic and wanted to keep this as a long term ownership proposition, especially after investing in the engine rebuild. However due to a unexpected change in personal circumstances I need to free up some funds.

Tim Farmer (Ex Zen Performance) whom carried out the Engine Rebuild said that i is the cleanest Classic he has ever seen and he has worked on 100's.

The local Subaru Specialist could not believe the condition of this Car and stated that it was as clean underneath as it was on top when it went up on the Ramps.

This really is a special Classic and is well worth the Money. Viewing is highly recomended and no pictures will ever do the car Justice

The Car is now fully detailed and Garaged for the Winter, thus I will only provide Test Drives if you can convince me that you are very interested in purchasing (IE you want the car pending a successful test drive). Unless you can provide documented evidence of fully comprehensive Insurance then I will be doing the driving.

Tony, shortly after purchasing her I heard what sounded like a heat shield rattling.

This progressively got worse as time went on so I had the Car looked at by a specialist then an independent Garage. I finally went to Tim Farmer and he advised that it sounded like a bottom end noise.

The car was running absolutely fine with no Knock detected and was holding 6 bar oil pressure, no smoking, holding full boost etc. There was no one 'incident' that resulted in the bottom end sound and with no visible problems this left me a bit stumped.

I finally decided to have the short block striped down and Tim found that it was a big end bearing on Cylinder No 3 that had failed. Thus followed the short block rebuild.

Hi Neil,

My builder advised a running in period of 500 miles up to 5k rpm with a maximum of 0.9 bar (For short periods of time). This running in process was observed.

The car went in yesterday for a an oil/filter change (Fuchs Ester based fully Synth) and a run in the rollers at full boost/rpm.

No tweak to the Map was required and I have a copy of the RR Plot post rebuild and post 500 Miles as well as the old RR Plots for Comparison.

Thanks.

Good luck with the sale Mark, just a shame cirumstances mean you can't keep it and it will be another owner on the book, after I had it for such a long time.

Thanks for the comment about being in my 30's BTW.
LOL.......I was when you bought it of me, but alas those days are now gone

Thanks Scott, would love to keep her but need to free funds up. Really hoping it will go to another enthusiast and there is a lot of longevity to be had with this Car.

Cracking car this. If your looking for a classic, then this is as good as they get. I've known this car and previous owner Scott for years, who probably won't thank me for saying he has a serious case of OCD. But the nett result is a classic that has truly been pampered for many years, and is proper mint inside, outside, underside, and under the bonnet.

It might not be the cheapest but probably the best, and you will definately get what you pay for with this.

No pub talk BHP claims either this car is a proper quick road car, that spools loverly and pulls hard. If I had the spare cash I would love this to go aloneside my Hawk.

Good luck with sale....

Price drop to £5495 ONO

Also please note the Car is now on WR1 PFF7`s as opposed to the Bright Flitter Rims shown in the Pictures. These are slightly Darker and do not have the Bronze Pearl effect but actually suit the Silver Body Work better. The WR1 Rims have some Minor Kerbing but overall are in excellent condition.
