Default Cheap Project - Classic Turbo 2000 Rolling Shell £750ono

Hi I have for sale my beloved Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 rolling shell in 559 red.

Before breaking:

As she stands now:

The car has been owned by myself for the last 5 years and been maintained meticulously, the model is a 1996 UK Turbo 2000 which is only insurance group 17 as opposed to all import WRX's and all STI's at group 20 and the car has never had so much as a bump.

I have a stack of receipts for various maintenance and modifications that were undertaken as well as all MOT's, tax discs and the V5 form. The car has just run out of tax and has been SORN although the MOT did have until the end of October.

The car was only being broken for parts as I had some expensive mod’s which I wanted to swap to my new car and didn’t have parts to swap, thus breaking it was more cost effective for me.

The rolling shell is only missing the following bits to get it to a point where it would be road worthy:
-Full engine (inc coolant system), drive-train, exhaust, ECU, seats and door-cards, bumpers and exterior lights.

The parts left on the car are worth in my experience over £1,000 2nd hand but I do not have the time or facilities to fully break it so my loss is your gain!

Parts included and left on the car include:
- All exterior panels (minus bumpers) and glass including mint front windscreen and facelift bonnet, some engine bay ancillaries and steering rack, engine loom and internal wiring, 16" Subaru wheels, Front 4 pot calipers with drilled/grooved discs and Goodridge hoses, rear single calipers with drilled/grooved discs and Goodridge hoses, all suspension parts including up-rated shocks and Eibach lowering springs, brand new fuel filler neck and Walbro up-rated fuel pump, all interior carpets roof lining and dash (except speedo surround), aftermarket steering wheel and boss, spare wheel.

I do have a load of parts that I am selling separately that we may be able to do a deal on if required.
The shell is 100% straight, the only negatives I can find are that one rear arch has just started to show signs of rust (probably a £150-200 job to drill out, weld a piece in and blow over) as does the front lip of the sunroof.

I have lots more pic’s, if you would like these please send me your email address and I will get these across.
The shell is ready to be towed or trailored away from post code CV23 (between Coventry and Rugby).

All in all I think £750ono is a bargain and an ideal base for a project, or just strip it bare and make money off it.

You are more than welcome to come and view prior to buying if you arrange a convenient time.
Any questions, ask away!

Paul
