Default X Reg Classic UK Turbo - Totally Standard

NOW EDITED.....MUST BE SOLD

Please see my write up about my classic impreza below. The car is now for sale. To cut a long story short, I had someone reverse into my rear bumper, leaving a scuff to the corner of the passenger side. Been trying to go through insurance to get it repaired, but they have now told me her insurance won't accept liability, an absolute joke! Anyway, I have decided to sell as is instead of claiming, I'd rather pass a saving onto a buyer who can then repair themselves with someone they trust.

The car now has no tax or MOT, due to the amount of time this has taken to sort out, the incident happened in April! Car was taken off road middle of November, I carried on driving te car as the damage is only a scuff as doesn't affect the performance of the car etc.

I am getting married in a couple of weeks, so to be honest could really do with the money.

You will see below just how good this Impreza is and to be honest will be an absolute steal to whoever buys it. I have had a quote to get the damage repaired through insurance and to have it done by Subaru to the highest quality would cost less than £500, so shop around and it could be a cheap fix! I am prepared to knock the £500 off the asking price to allow for this. So new asking price would be £2350. For a car of this standard, you really can't find anything better.

Original post below with full details:

Been contemplating selling my beloved Impreza for a couple of months now. Just doing too many miles with work and it's breaking my heart to see the miles racking up. I'm in no rush to sell, not interested in selling cheap for a quick sale.

The car itself is a X Reg, UK Turbo, totally standard as it left the factory. It has covered 109,000 miles with full service history. The majority are Subaru dealer stamps, with the latest being an independent garage. It has recently had a master service costing over £500, plus it had a new radiator, front discs and front and rear pads. As part of the master service, all fluids were changed with the highest quality replacements including the oil. I have receipts for everything that was done.

The car is in great condition throughout, I wouldn't say "Mint", there are a couple of dings and stonechips to the front end, but overall the car really is in great condition. It is very hard to find an unmolested example like this, took me months to find the right one. Even has the original UK Turbo mats it came with from the factory.

When I purchased the car I had a tracker fitted to the car, which I have all the documentation for. Would be very easy to switch details to the new owner. Tracker cost over £200.

The car drives beautifully and pulls like a train, I think it would be hard to find one out there better. I have loads of receipts that came with the car and had a full hpi check before I purchased it last year.

A few pictures below:

As I said, in no rush to sell, looking for £2,850 which I believe is a VERY competitive price considering it is such an unmolested example.

Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Yes this is available, going up for sale properly at the end of the week!

Not really looking for a swap to be honest, was looking for the cash to put towards something a bit more economical for work.

Any viewing welcome if any interest

The drive home gives you a chance to get acquainted

Don't suppose you fancy a 4X4 and cash?

Send me your email and I'll send further photos to you.

Best way for me to convince you is for you to come and drive it! Loads of history, mostly main dealer, best fuel always used, warmed up properly as well as cooling down properly.

Think I am fourth owner from new.

No tax or mot, 109,000 miles for £2850? seriously?

My mate just bought a 1 owner MY99 with 77k, completely standard for £1500 with 9 months mot and tax so i'd say your price is optimistic but if theres someone out there willing to pay that and its MINT in every way then fair play.

As you will see I have reduced the price to £2350. When I advertised for £2850 it had MOT and Tax on the car and would have had the bumper sorted out by a Subaru Specialist.

How often do you see a Classic Impreza for sale that hasn't been touched in terms of modification? Not many I'm sure.

Personally I think it's a very realistic price at £2350 but happy to listen to sensible offers or I could even look at putting an MOT on it before sale if that was required.

Still for sale, anyone who has any questions, just ask
