1997 Type RA - Mint Example - NOW SOLD!
Probably going to regret selling this as its such a good car but here goes! - probably one of the best classics around.
I've owned this car for the last year and a half, the only reason i'm selling is i've bought an estate to carry about all my golfing gear.
It will be sold with 12 Months Mot & 11 Months Tax.
The current milage is 62686 Kilometers (39,000 Miles). The speedo still reads in Kilometers as i did'nt want to mess around with it. Some receipts and old mots.
Engine.
39,000 miles, only modifications it had was a sti panel filter and jasma stainless steel exhaust system. When i bought the car i had the cambelt changed for piece of mind, all fluids changed and oil / filter change. At the same time i had a japspeed wrapped decat downpipe fitted, uprated Walbro Fuel pump, Uprated spark plugs, 308 BHP and 301 lbft. The car was rolling roaded at Pro-Sport in stockport with laminated a4 sheet to confirm.
Engine runs and pulls like it should - the only problem i've had in the last year and a half was a faulty maf sensor which was replaced.
Bodywork.
Very clean bodywork, all the panels are original, original paintwork - this car has not had any repairs so no dodgy overspray, obviously there is the odd paint chip and minor inperfection but does not detract from the car at all.
I clay the car myself and use a mequires dual polisher - it gets washed every single week and full polish twice a year, very clean car.
Underside the car is very clean, no rust issues at all on the car - the first to view will buy this car.
Interior.
Obviously for the milage of the car it is mint - all standard apart from a cd player that has been added - sounds pretty pants but i never use it anyway.
All seats, carpets, headlining and dash are all pretty much as new.
Any questions please ask, i'm 40 years old with 2 kids so NO TIMEWASTERS PLEASE!!!!
Car used as a 2nd car for a short commute to work and golf club - we have a family car for getting kids about.
This is my 4th Impreza and 2nd Type RA. I'm sure the people who have seen this car or worked on it can vouch for its condition.
Enthusiast owned and forum member, got to be one of the best classic Impreza's about - Price wise i'm asking £3750 ovno - got a new car so sorry no px's.
Any inspection or viewing is welcome - car is located in between Blackpool & Preston in Lancashire - Postcode PR4.

Just to let all you guys know, I went with Ste on the rolling road day and can confirm all the above is correct and can also confirm that its always been very well looked after and one of the best standard-ish examples of an RA as you will find, good luck with the sale Ste, I don`t think it will be up for long, Gaz.
