Default Low mileage, magazine featured classic!!

For sale is my 2001 Subaru Impreza Sport.

I have owned this car since last August. I am only selling the car because i am going to University next year so i am looking for a small and cheap car to run.

The car has recently been featured in FastCar magazine, it was the main feature in the magazine with a full 5 page write up.

The car is very low mileage with only 56,000 genuine miles on the clock. I am the third owner of the car, and the only owner to use it daily.

There are a lot of extra's that are on the car, and i have priced the car accordingly. The modifications alone are worth over £1500!

Full list of modifications:

Styling
Smoothed front bumper (washer jets and fog covers)
Prodrive front splitter, smoothed out
Smoothed front grill
Smoothed bonnet (scoops + vents)
De spoilered boot
De badged
Crystal front lights + silver blubs
Red tinted rear lights
Plenty of genuine stickers from US
Polished fuse box cover
Fastcar dice valve caps
Tegiwa red tow hook
Boso subway handle

Tuning
Japspeed induction kit
H&R un silenced center pipe
Apexi back box

Chassis
BBS LM-R replica wheels (18x8.5)
BBS Japan red center caps
Raceland front coilovers
D2 rear coilovers
Fully adjustable top mounts all round
Rays Engineering wheel nuts
Cusco polished front strut brace
Cusco 6 point rollcage

Interior
STI WRC ltd edition blue front seats
STI WRC rear black seats
Nardi suede steering wheel
Quick release steering boss
Poolball gearknob
Stickerbombed center console

I have many of the standard components such as wheels, suspension and rear wing, so the car could be put back to standard. I have calculated the price of all the extra's and it comes to £1650, so the car itself is really cheap!!

If you have any questions at all, email me at:

Shawzy_344@hotmail.co.uk

Im looking for £3250 ono
Parts alone are over £1650 so car itself is only costing £1600!!!

Any questions, PM me

Tom,

Shes a lovely looking scooby I must admit.... However, you may struggle to sell it because it's a sport. You can buy a version 4 / 5 / maybe even a 6 (if your lucky) sti for the money your asking if it was a turbo, im sure people would be snapping your hand off for the keysm however I am sure most will agree with what im saying.

Have you considered breaking it? You may get the kind of money your after. The alloys, cage, shell, interior etc will be worth a few quid so it may be worth thinking about!

Again, no offense intended as she looks fantastic!

GLWTS.

Yeah i have thought about breaking it, but i havnt got the time, space and i was hoping to buy the car i want this week.

Even if someone bought this for 3k, they could strip the parts and end up with a mint classic sport with very low mileage for £1500. Thats cheaper than any ive seen advertised.

Or i would sell the car for £1500 standard if anyones interested

you need to break that mate, i know you say you dont have the time but scooby prices are on there **** so paying 3k for a non turbo... you will have that car till next year, i know where your coming from with mods but you never get money back when modifying lol

With the mileage I'd hope it's worth at least £2k.

Agree, you will get a good low mileage turbo for that money (and change), no one will buy a sport when there are so many other good cars out there which are:-
1. quicker
2. Cheaper to run
3. cheaper to insure.

Roll cage will put people off because of insurance issues with It and it is a heavily modified sport which bumps premiums up even more

A STD turbo might be cheaper to insure

Need the money for uni fees but already have your eye on another car?

Overpriced imo buddy. As already said, break it, you'll get more for it. Just because its been in Farse car mag, doesn't instantly mean its worth more. Nice looking motor, don't get me wrong, just need to adjust the price.

Best of luck with the sale, bumpage!
