My mates got one in the same colour.

its a lovely colour but the amount it would cost £3600 ono, plus rear arches, bonnet then respray added to mot and tax.. All adds up buddy,

Has this got the lamco centre guages?

It might help if you state what went into the engine rebuild?

what parts were used?

What is the engine rated to?

Also I may of missed it but a post states was well cared for until it was laid up! For what reason was it laid up? How long for? And how many miles has it covered since being used again?

Lastly when is it next due a service? And is that inclusive of a cambelt as when was that last done?

You might want to call around a few breakers and see what they offer you,
people like matty @ pole-posistion or andy @ scooby spares etc..

ive pm'd them.

not good answers.

crank bearings went.
cambelt was done on rebuild
its ready for a service
280bhp as standard on these
it was well cared for, loads of money spent on it,anything it wanted it got.
reason for it being stood was we couldnt afford to run 2 cars

Sorry I meant what level of rebuild? Was.it rebuilt with standard parts or forged bits.

What power can the rebuilt engine take?

What forged parts where used if at all?

Offer the most amount of info as people will be thinking its a grands worth of paint work, plus tax plus not just to get it back to life so that on your 3k price is asking for someone to come along.who really wants the colour as to a few its a must to imo most its not appealing and when you add the two cost together its similar value to buy one all good to.go without all the hassle.

Might be worth an idea to pop 6 months tax and an mot to make it a drive away

Stick it on pistonheads but a £40-£50 mot would help it out alot.
