Default MY00 UK Turbo with PPP (including ECU)

SOLD

UK TURBO WITH RARE PRODRIVE PERFORMANCE PACK (PPP) INCLUDING PRODRIVE ECU

I'm selling my Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD (UK model - lower insurance). W-Reg year 2000 model.

In the year I have owned it I have only done 5.5k miles. Reason for selling is that I have a just taken out a new mortgage and need to get something more sensible (boring) to save money! Plus the wife is nagging! Very reluctant sale as this car is impossible not to love.

Mileage is 126k - average for age - don't let this put you off as it's a very clean example. It looks great and runs beautifully. It has never let me down. It has has a whole year's MOT as it has just passed a couple of weeks ago with nothing needing to be done. Only notation in the MOT worth mentioning is that the rear pads need replacing and front pads will soon (3/4 worn). So will definitely need pads all round. Other than that the car is in great condition.

Pirelli P Zero tyres all round - all have plenty of tread (the front have only done approx 1000 miles - 3 months old)
Cambelt done by previous owner Feb 2010 @ 120k miles
Part service history.

The best thing about this car is that it has the full PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack) consisting of Prodrive anthracite 17" alloy wheels, Prodrive exhaust, Prodrive mid-level rear spoiler and best of all Prodrive re-mapped ECU. This gives a performance increase from the standard 215 bhp to a much more impressive 240 bhp. Even more impressive is the torque increase which goes from 290 N.M/214 lbft to an incredible 350 N.M/258 lbft!! This gives a 0-60 time approx 5 secs. These are the figures quoted by Prodrive.

The above should not affect your insurance much (if at all) as they are standard parts, albeit optional extras. Group 17 insurance.

The car has a tracker fitted which helps bring down the insurance premium.

The car is standard (other than the Prodrive stuff). It also has a a subtle but decent sound system including an Alpine CD player with iPod connection, Vibe front speakers, infinity rear speakers (stealthily hidden) and subwoofer in custom box/panel.

The bad bits:
Not much to say really, other than the brake pads needing replacing as mentioned above. Everything electrical works, no funny noises, a little bit of peeling paint on the bonnet but nothing major. Alloys could do with a refurb if you are being picky but I was happy enough as they are.

Call me for a viewing 07843623976.
No tyre kickers and no test drives unless you have proof of insurance cover for this car.

Advertised for sale elsewhere. All sensible offers considered.
I have the standard 215 bhp ECU I can sell the car with if preferred for insurance/economy purposes.

I love this car and will be sad to see it go!!

Nice car, mileage is about right if you go on the average per year. Good luck with sale.
