2002 Subaru STi Prodrive Edition
Where to start.......
This is my 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Prodrive Edition Type UK - Limited number 521 of 750 in O2c Rally Blue.
The car is far from standard, and has been loved over the last 5 years - with no expense being spared on both tuning parts, serviceable parts, and detailing. The car is extremely well maintained, and looked after, spending its nights tucked under a cover in my garage, on a battery maintainer. As you can see, the car has been meticulously modified and maintained from the basic bushes and bearings, right up to the baffled Sump and SC38 turbo meaning it really is the complete package! She handles extremely well, has no unusual noises, and runs like a dream pulling extremely well.
Most of the work done on the car has been documented on SES via my projects page, which can be viewed here:
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ad.php?t=20010
As with any car 17 years old, there are a few bits that need mentioning:
- Slight bubble rust spots on both rear arches
- “trolley” small dent on rear door
- Stone Chips on Bonnet
- Stone Chips on Front Bumper
- Small Rust mark on roof
- Sills showing small rust
However as i spare no expense with this car, the sills, and arches were due to be done this winter - so I have brand new rear arches, and sills that will be provided with the car if sold so that the new owner can fit them if they wish. The arches are not catastrophic, but I like perfection and so had them ready to replace anyway!
In terms of cleanliness - well I shouldn't really have to mention how much love has been placed into this car. She is very very very clean, and protected using only the highest standard waxes and sealants - and will be fully detailed by myself prior to sale to ensure she is looking her best. Again for more information on this, just check out the "show and shine" threads on my South East Scoobies page...
The car will be given a new MOT (booked in for 10th Aug), and had 4x new Eagle F1 Asy 5's fitted on 4th Aug (as I have just used the Eagle F1 Asy 3's at Brands Hatch - still have these!) and will be given another oil change using Motul 300v and black oil filter.
Private plate is not included in the prices below, but can be added after negotiation if required.
Not sure really what else to say - this car has been a labour of love, and really has had no expense spared when it comes to parts, servicing and detailing. I have folders of receipts to back up all parts purchased etc and two keys and fobs e.t.c.
It has been round "The Ring" 6 times, Brands Hatch on 2x Trackdays, and Lydden Hill 3x Track Days - performing superbly at each and every one without issue.
This really is a great opportunity to buy a very well looked after - low mileage limited edition Prodrive STi
COST:
CAR AS IS NOW: Including racing back box (meets sound regs at Brands / Lydden e.t.c.) / New Sills / New Rear Arches / years MOT
£11,250
However I do have another deal to offer.....
I am selling what was to be the next upgrade parts for the car -all brand new and in their boxes / packets- Process West Black Stealth FMIC, RCM Fuel Pressure Reg Kit, Simtek Pro Racing ECU, Perrin 4-Bar Map Sensor and Air Temp Sensor. Along with these, I also have imported Roo Duct Brake Cooling Kits and ductwork which were to help on track days with brake temps.
I am selling the the parts (excluding the Brake Cooling Kit + Ducts) for £3000 which is already a significant saving over the New Price from RCM.
However if someone wants to take all the parts off my hands as part of the package with the car only I will sell them further discounted:
CAR AS IS NOW + All brand new parts listed above:
£14,000 - (Saving you money ontop of the already discounted performance parts for sale!!)
However I must state, the car will only be sold to the right person!! I will not be selling it to just anybody who shows up with the cash if I think they are not going to look after it as I have, and continue to ensure it remains of the high standard it is now. This car means to much for me to sell and not give a damn! If I think you are going to Rag it and ruin it - you wont be buying it!!
SORRY, NOT SORRY!
All test drives will be done by myself, and all monies must be cleared prior to keys being handed over!
I am sure I have missed loads, and there is probably other things that will be given with the car (original parts) if any new owner would like them as and when I find them.
Thanks for reading -
Ryan
